This is an English translation of the Greek Terms and Conditions for convenience. The Greek version is the legally binding text.


1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the online Platform of Briefly AI Limited (the "Company", "we"), which provides services analysing and summarising publicly available judicial decisions through artificial intelligence.

The Service is intended exclusively for lawyers, law firms and legal professionals acting in the course of their professional activity.

By registering on the Platform and/or using the Service, the User declares that they are acting for professional purposes and unreservedly accepts these Terms.

2. Definitions

"Platform": The Company's website and software.

"Service": The provision of summaries and structured analyses of publicly available judicial decisions.

"AI Content": Content produced through artificial-intelligence algorithms.

"User": Any natural or legal person who uses the Service for professional purposes.

3. Nature of the Service — Disclaimer

3.1 No legal advice

The Company is not a law firm. AI Content is provided exclusively for informational and research purposes and does not constitute legal advice.

3.2 No attorney-client relationship

Use of the Platform does not create an attorney-client relationship or any relationship of trust.

3.3 Limitations of artificial intelligence

Artificial-intelligence technology may produce inaccuracies or omissions. The Company does not guarantee the validity, completeness, accuracy or timeliness of AI Content and/or summaries, and the Company and its directors and/or members and/or employees and other officers bear no liability in the event that AI Content and/or summaries are not valid, complete, accurate or up to date.

3.4 Duty to verify

The User understands that they must always consult the full and authentic text of the judicial decision and must independently verify the validity, completeness, accuracy and/or timeliness of AI Content before any professional or judicial use of such AI Content.

3.5 Service "as is"

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, code, data structure and AI Content constitute the intellectual property of the Company.

The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Platform exclusively for internal professional use.

The following are prohibited:

  1. Commercial exploitation or resale of the Company's intellectual property.
  2. Use for training other AI models.
  3. Automated data extraction (scraping).

5. Registration and Account

The User:

  1. Must provide accurate information to the Company at registration and/or when using the Platform.
  2. Is responsible for the security of their credentials.
  3. May not share their account without prior permission from the Company.

The Company reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these Terms.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Access to the services is provided through subscription packages (monthly or yearly) with fixed pricing per number of users.

Payments are made by card.

Subscriptions renew automatically for equal periods unless cancelled before the renewal date.

No-Refund Policy

Owing to the nature of this professional digital service and given that the Service is intended exclusively for professionals, no refunds are provided after activation or renewal of the subscription.

7. Data Protection

The Company processes data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Service is based on and/or uses exclusively publicly available judicial decisions.

The Company:

  1. Does not use user data to train models.
  2. Engages third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenAI, Google Gemini) solely for content-processing purposes.
  3. Retains only the generated summaries in its database.

Further details are set out in the Company's Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for:

  1. Indirect or consequential damages.
  2. Loss of profits or reputation.
  3. Misuse of AI Content.

The maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by the User during the six (6) months preceding the claim.

9. Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for delays or inability to provide the Service due to events beyond its reasonable control.

10. Amendment of Terms

The Company reserves the right to unilaterally amend these Terms. Amendments take effect upon publication on the Company's website.

11. Termination

The User may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect from the next billing period.

The Company may terminate the agreement immediately in the event of a material breach of these Terms.

After termination:

  1. The User's access to the Platform ceases.
  2. The intellectual-property and limitation-of-liability obligations set out in these Terms remain in force.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.

The Courts of Nicosia have exclusive jurisdiction.
